Yep - the story all along was it was only corporations and 'the rich' ...
but it simply isn't true for 80-90% of Americans. But unfortunately most people aren't smart enough to compare the effective tax rate to previous years - they only compare the size of the refund. That is like complaining that when you pay with a $10 for $7 in groceries you only get $3 in change but the last time you went you paid with a $20 on $9 worth of groceries and got $11 back. They got screwed out of $8! Dummies!
